APTIC 2010

This year’s Asia-Pacific Tourism Investment Conference & Expo will be held in Seoul from October 26 to October 7.

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and organized by the Korea Tourism Organization, the annual conference and exhibition on tourism investment in the Asia-Pacific region is the only such event in Korea.
 

Divided into six main sessions, the event will feature 24 leading tourism industry experts from Korea and abroad. They will be delivering speeches on how to develop the tourism industry, ways for the government to coordinate investment projects and more. There will also be a discussion forum on related issues.
 

More than 4,000 people including investors, construction developers, analysts and consultants will attend the event. The Korea Tourism Organization has arranged more than one hundred booths, in an effort to showcase various international tourism investment and development packages.
 

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange business profiles and investment plans. Consequently, the event is expected to function as a tourism marketplace. In order to efficiently create and use the network among participants, KTO has established an online profile system of investors and exhibitors.
 

For corporate participants, this event will be a time and money saving opportunity bringing multiple investment seminars to one place, and for lower profiled companies, it will be a great promoting opportunity, building bridges among potential customers.
