Insa-dong boasts excellent shops specializing in pottery such as tea sets, tableware, and those for decorative purposes. Besides, they also offer various items (accessories, miniatures, and key rings) which can be fascinating gifts or souvenirs. Visitors can purchase and experience high quality pottery in great pottery villages in Yeoju, Icheon, and Gwangju (Gyeonggi-do). Haegang Ceramics Museum also runs a shopping mall. Pottery is generally available in department stores, duty-free shops, Korean souvenir shops in marts, or the National Souvenir Center.
