Seo-hyun

Girls' Generation's youngest member Seo-hyun has been appointed as a promotional ambassador for the UN Pavilion at the 2012 Yeosu Expo, which will kick off on May 12.

An appointment ceremony was held at the end of March when UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon was in Seoul for the Nuclear Security Summit. During the affair, Ban reportedly asked Seo-hyun to raise awareness among Expo tourists of the importance of conserving the seas and oceans.

Seo-hyun replied, "I'm delighted to be appointed by Ban, for whom I have deep respect. I will do my best to raise awareness on how important it is to preserve the maritime environment."
