[Korea] Jeju Gears up for World Conservation Congress

In preparation for the 2012 Jeju World Conservation Congress (September 6-15) as well as in celebration of its selection as the World Environmental Capital, Jeju Island is holding the Grand Environment Festival until September 15th.

During the festival period, over 400 programs, including the Healing Music Festival, Korea Traditional Folks Games Event, and Eco Flea Market, will be held at 11 different tourist sites on the island such as the Jeju World Natural Heritage Center, Halla Arboretum, Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art, Jeju Stone Park, Folklore & Natural History Museum, and Seogwipo Natural Recreation Forest.

Participation in the programs is free of charge. Accordingly, admission to the program sites (except Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak and Aqua Planet Jeju) is also free of charge during the festival period.
