[KTO] KTO launches e-Learning program about Korean travel

To promote Korea as a tourist destination overseas, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) launched an e-Learning educational program for travel operators and related personnel in Europe and the Americas.

Tour operators can use the information the program offers to develop and promote Korea travel packages. The program also helps general travelers plan their trip to Korea by providing an overview of Korea and its tourist attractions. The e-Learning educational program consists of an overview of Korea, travel information, regional introductions, a test, and a survey.

Those who pass the test (total 25 questions, minimum passing score 80 points out of 100) can receive a certificate from the KTO. Various incentives will be given to those who complete the program, such as the fostering of Korea specialists among retail travel agents and travel package developers with high sales records.
