Citibank Korea, the Korean subsidiary of the multinational financial services corporation Citigroup, has recently globalized ATMs at all branches across the country, and waived fees for using ATM services. Such measure was taken to best accommodate the foreign residents and visitors using overseas-issued payment cards in Korea.

Previously, cash withdrawals using payment cards issued outside of Korea were available only at select ATMs with global service features, which incurred additional fees. The bank's latest move for globalization now enables customers to make withdrawals using overseas credit and debit (check) cards such as China Unionpay, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus, PLUS, and Diners Club International at all of its ATMs with no additional fee.

Furthermore, Citibank Korea has designated several branches to provide specialized services for international customers, while providing internet and mobile banking platforms, as well as operating a 24-hour call center (+82-2-3704-7100) in English.
