Seoul serves 121 major cities around the world with 272 international routes and 2,846 flights per week. Domestically, it serves 13 cities including Busan, Jeju, and Gwangju with 18 routes and 2,682 weekly flights. International routes are served by Incheon International Airport, and domestic routes by Gimpo Airport. Limousine buses connect the airports with downtown Seoul. Travel to and from Gimpo Airport is easy and convenient on Subway Line 5, and the Korea City Air Terminal that connects with COEX offers smooth and convenient use of the airport from downtown.

The nationwide railway network starts from Seoul. There, Seoul Railway Station boasts a complex of upscale cultural spaces and the Cheongnyangni Station connects Seoul with cities in Gangwon-do.

Regular express or intercity buses connecting cities across the nation depart from Seoul Express Bus Terminal, Central City Terminal, Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, and Sangbong Bus Terminal.

The subway system connects all parts of Seoul, as well as Incheon, Uijeongbu, and Cheonan. With the improvement of the bus-only lane system, bus transportation has become more convenient and faster.
