With 20 years of experience organizing international conventions, COEX has a pool of professional human resources to support the organization of various international events. Professional services in a variety of fields are available, including foreign languages, A/V equipment operation, protocol, security, transportation, and tourism. COEX develops the world’s top convention professionals by sending them for training at UNLV in the U.S., University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and Polytech University in Hong Kong. The Grand Ballroom on the first floor of the New Building (Singwan) accommodates up to 1,800 people on a surface area of 1,815m². On the second floor is 80-seat ASEM Hall, which was designed for the ASEM conference in 2002. The Auditorium on the third floor is a theatre-style conference hall with 1,070 seats, which is used for stockholders’ meetings, academic seminars, international conferences and product launching events. The Conference Center located on the third and fourth floors of the main building (Bon-gwan) has six conference halls for 150 people, and 24 medium and small meeting rooms; the Grand Conference Room is a theatre-style conference room that can be used for symposiums, film screenings, and award ceremonies, and has 35mm and 16mm projectors and a fixed screen. In addition, there are eight conference halls, including the 16,400m² Jangbogo Hall, ASEM Hall, and Auditorium Hall. Located in downtown Seoul, COEX is a massive, multi-purpose cultural space with a shopping center, multiplex theatre, aquarium, bookstore, and restaurants in addition to conference facilities. Also located nearby are hotels, casinos, and upscale department stores, as well as Bongeunsa Temple, north of COEX, where temple-stay programs are available for international conference participants.

AT Center, a contemporary style exhibition and convention facility for international-scale exhibitions, conventions, and trade businesses, was opened in 1998. Built on a surface area of 18,810m², it is a five-story building of 58,294m² in total and also houses convenient facilities like restaurants, commercial center, a fitness center, and hospital. Equipped with such state-of-the-art facilities as simultaneous interpretation system, AV system, and refrigeration storage, AT Center mainly consists of Exhibition Hall 1 (3,638m²), Exhibition Hall 2 (3,784m²), and three conference rooms that can accommodate from 50 to 430 people. Unlike other convention centers, AT Center has the Trade Information Center and Export Promotion Hall in residence, offering one-stop export support service such as permanent exhibitions of promising export items, promotions, and foreign-buyer consultation services.

Opened in 1999, SETEC is a trade exhibition center with world-class exhibition halls and supporting operations housed in a one-story building. Located on a 31,000m² lot with a total building surface area of 11,019m², it has three exhibition, and four conference halls that can accommodate from 30 to 300 people. The structure is designed to streamline the flow of foot traffic. Each exhibition hall is Internet-ready for cable and wireless services as well as phone lines. The business center and buyer consultation center are in the centrally-located lobby, enabling streamlined support. The fan-shaped outdoor space has a lawn plaza for rest and relaxation.
